The Process
Excavation
The area is excavated to receive a substantial sub base (insufficent base at this stage will result in premature sinking). This forms the basis of a drive way which will last for many years.
Setting The Base
The sub base is levelled and compacted with a vibrating plate, the edges or kerbs are concreted in to form a solid retaining edge.
Laying The Blocks
Sharp sand is spread over the sub-base compacted and screeded to levels. Your chosen block pavers are hand laid and cuts inserted. The area is grouted with a special sand and compacted to finish.
